We are again pleased to offer this exciting class in celebration of our partnership with Cook’s Pots and Tabletops, the Willamette Valley’s premiere cooking school. An IACP finalist for Cooking School of the Year in 2007, Cook’s Pots and Tabletops will be hosting this event for up to 20 guests. Brendan Mahaney of Belly, will be our guest chef for 2010. CHEF BIO

Brendan Mahaney

Brendan Mahaney (a Sagitarian) has cooked professionally for over 12 years. He started his culinary career in the San Francisco Bay Area, cooking at Enrico's in North Beach and the Bay Wolf Restaurant in Oakland. In Eugene, Brendan was the chef at Marche Cafe and at Red Agave while also cooking at Soriah's and Chanterelles. On July 4th 2008, Brendan and his partner Ann Marie Bragger opened Belly Restaurant in downtown Eugene, serving "rustic European farmhouse soul food" in a casual setting. Belly was recently awarded "Eugene Best Restaurant" by Eugene Weekly readers. Brendan is honored to be invited to participate in this year's Oregon Truffle Festival.
